What to Expect
Before you start
The Ability Imprint takes approximately 45-60 minutes to complete and consists of four sections. The first three sections—words, numbers, and problem-solving—are timed, while the final section, focusing on behavioural attributes, is not. The assessment is designed to be challenging, encouraging you to demonstrate your inherent capabilities under time constraints.
Important: While the assessment can be paused between sections, breaks are not allowed within a timed section. To achieve the best results, we recommend you find a quiet space free from distractions and complete the assessment when you’re well-rested and focused.
How to Prepare for the Ability Imprint

Here are a few steps to help you get ready:
Choose the Right Device
It’s best to complete the Ability Imprint on a laptop, desktop, or tablet with a stable internet connection. Due to the small screen size, we don’t recommend using a smartphone.
Set Aside Time
Allow yourself a dedicated 45-60 minute window to complete the assessment without interruptions. Be sure to read the instructions carefully before you start each section.
Stay Focused and Calm
Take breaks between sections if needed to regain your focus and ensure you’re ready for the next part. In total, there are four sections to complete.
